Each processor output incorporates a multipoint indicator that shows information on the output level:

GREEN: Signal presence. Output level greater than -40 dBu.

ORANGE: The output is reaching the nominal level point. Level equal to or greater than 0 dBu.

RED: Peak indicator. The output level is exceeding +14.5 dBu.

 

NOTE: The output level should not exceed the maximum input level of the connected equipment. This level can be between -10 dBu and +8 dBu in consumer equipment and between 0dBu and +8 dBu in professional equipment. It is recommended to reduce the output gain and activate the output limiter to avoid speaker breakage or equipment clipping. The MAP handles a -headroom- of 5 dB before actual clipping.
