This connector allows the device to be connected to a network with 10/100 Base-T Ethernet specifications. The control will be carried out by computers connected to this network and running the free Altair 3cMAP program included for download in the supply of the processors. The program runs under Windows™ and offers control over all functions and hardware components of the processor: DSP algorithms, remote controls and firmware update among others.

The connection is made through RJ45-type connectors using a patch cord for Ethernet networks. These patch cords will be made up of 2 (or 4) pairs of twisted cable Cat5 type. Make sure the wiring is pin-to-pin on all 4 (or 8) wires by checking the color code at each end.

Alternatively, the MAP processors can be controlled wirelessly by laptops or tablets connected to this network by WIFI or other means. There is a reduced version of the Altair 3cMAP program for devices with Android™ available for free download from Play Store™.
