The audio outputs on the MAP processor are electronically balanced and the connection is made using 3-pin Phoenix® connectors. The connection is made using the connector supplied with the device that uses a 2 mm flat screw fixing system.

The terminal layout is described in the diagram, seen from the outside of the equipment.

When unbalanced signals are connected, the live will be brought to the (+) terminal and the ground connection will be brought simultaneously to the (-) and ground 0V terminals using a single connecting cable between the 0V terminal and the (-) terminal. If this union is not made, the signal will suffer a significant loss of level.

The output impedance is 100 ohm nominal.
